Over the last several weeks, we’ve touched on grocery store engineering, subscription traps, nighttime scrolling, freeloading credit cards and the formula nobody taught you in school.

Did any of it make you stop and think?

Maybe you looked at your bank statement with fresh eyes. Maybe you deleted a long-forgotten subscription. Maybe you were reaching for your phone on the nightstand but decided to pick up your book beside it instead.

Or maybe you thought: I really need to get a handle on my finances.

If any of that sounds familiar, that means you’re ready to explore behavior-based budgeting.

What Budget YOU! Actually Is

Budget YOU! is not a lecture. It's not a spreadsheet course. It's not another self-proclaimed financial guru telling you it's sooooo easy! Just stop buying stuff.

It's four live, interactive sessions designed to completely reset the way you think about money.

Here's the formula we build everything around:

Why You Buy + What You Need = How You Budget

Most budgeting advice starts at the end of that equation. We start at the beginning — because that's where lasting change actually happens. We start with WHY you spend the way you do then move to determining WHAT you actually need before we get to HOW you budget.

This is a realistic budget built by you for you. It’s a system that takes you beyond mere numbers. This is a Money Map that will be your financial navigation tool.

What the Four Sessions Look Like

Session 1 — The Blueprint We start with the psychology. Why your brain and your wallet want to head in opposite directions. How marketers in every sector work to tempt you and make you spend more easily. Even your phone is working against you! Awareness of the real and specific techniques used is the first step in taking control.

You'll also begin building your Money Map. This is your personalized budget built around your actual life, your values and your goals.

Session 2 — The Friction Factor We go deeper into the systems working against you. Subscriptions. Ghost expenses. Credit cards. Digital payments. The credit score connection most people don't know about until it's too late. And the single most powerful behavioral trick for making saving automatic and spending intentional.

Session 3 — Optimization Your Money Map has been taking shape over the last couple of weeks. Now we’ll fine-tune it. We cover the four savings tiers — your Phew! Fund, your Emergency Fund, your Fun Fund, and your Major Expense Fund — and show you how to build each one without feeling like you're depriving yourself of anything. Life is about living, right?

We also introduce AI as your financial partner. You’ll learn specific prompts to use immediately for everything from grocery planning to car shopping to comparing loan offers.

Session 4 — The Long Game (Four weeks later)

This is where we celebrate our wins, learn from each other and make any adjustments. We’ll gather to go over some new material and discuss what’s been happening as you’ve become more comfortable with your Money Map and savings plans.

What worked? What was harder than expected? Did your Money Map need some adjustments?

This session is part celebration, part troubleshooting and part planning for everything that comes next. This includes the savings hierarchy, saving for retirement and leveraging other savings vehicles. You will be equipped to leverage your new-found skills and tools into wealth. Bonus: your financial stress will begin melting away the more you feel in control of your money.

What You Walk Away With

At the end of four sessions you'll have:

  • A working Money Map built around your real numbers

  • A clear picture of where your money has been going — and where you want it to go

  • At least one savings account open and named

  • Eliminated unneeded subscriptions/auto pays

  • A set of AI prompts you can use for financial decisions immediately

  • 12 months of follow-up check-ins from me personally

  • A certificate of completion

And something harder to put on a list: a completely different relationship with money. One where budgeting is no longer seen as a restriction but as a route. A route to your financial freedom.

Who This Is For

Budget YOU! was built for anyone who has ever:

  • Looked at a bank statement and felt sucker-punched

  • Wondered where money goes ‘cuz the month ain’t over yet

  • Tried to budget before and felt completely lost or discouraged

  • Felt like everyone got the financial freedom memo . . . except you!

You didn't miss anything. Nobody taught you this. That's exactly why Budget YOU! exists.

The Commitment

Three consecutive weeks for the webinars. One check-in session four weeks later. Forty-five minutes each. Your choice of Saturday mornings, or Wednesday or Thursday evenings.

That's it.

No prerequisites. No super-duper math skills needed.

Just show up, ideally with a laptop so you can see the slides and download the tools. Grab a pen and some paper. Maybe refresh your cup of coffee (or, in my case, tea).

Ready?

Cohorts are forming now.

If the little voice inside of your head has been quietly telling you it’s time, don’t wait for that voice to begin shouting. Take action and sign up.

It’s time to take control.

It’s time to be the boss of your bucks.
